CIAO AMERICA! synopsis

…is a fictional TV variety show featuring behind

the scenes sub-plots involving the show’s recurring

characters and guest stars (e.g. The Larry Sander’s

Show, the classic Jack Benny Show, etc.)

Aldo and Fredo Monelli live in Campodiculo, Sicily

with their psychotic mother, 6 chickens and a goat.

But they’re ambitious. They want to be “big singers”

in Hollywood and live in Beverly Hills next-door to

Kim Kardashian and Jay Leno.  So they’ve re-directed

Italy’s satellite signal to beam their TV variety show

to America…and now The Pope wants them DEAD!

Special guest Dr. Phil attempts to analyze the Monelli’s

dysfunctional but beloved “Mama” and is stricken with

the “Sicilian Evil Eye” for his efforts.  Everybody’s favorite

clown Pipo Pipo celebrates his 60^th anniversary in show

business, but the excitement proves to be too much and

paramedics are called in to resuscitate the aging 350 lbs.

pagliaccio.  And as a special musical treat for the kids,

Tenor Number 37 Enrico Fattso performs a special hip

hop opera (La Donna e Mobile/Super Freak).  Also; the

world’s only living accordion playing Elvis impersonator

Ciccio “The King” ;  “The Most Delicious Journalist”

Sofia Marinara; and Grampa “Nonno” Vito who’s

been reincarnated as a goat.

Meanwhile back at the Vatican…The Evil Pope Alberto

(with his trusted papal hatchet man Cato) calls in His

Holiness’ most feared assassin, Big Monk, to take out

the Monellis.
